Our Line of Authentic Caribbean Cheeses
Quality
of Milk: Quality cheese begins with quality milk. The
milk supply used in our cheeses comes from family-owned and operated Wisconsin
dairy farms satisfying the highest quality requirements of the dairy manufacturing
industry.
Production Facility: The plant where our cheeses are produced
is licensed by the State of Wisconsin and is approved by the USDA (United States
Department of Agriculture).
Production Team: Cheese production is led by the plant
owner, a third generation cheese maker with over 30 years of experience. Overseeing
production of the Caribbean cheese line is Andrew Herold, co-owner of Unique
Food Concepts, LLC. Mr. Herold has over 24 years of experience in the cheese industry
with his primary focus being Caribbean cheeses. More than 17 years of that experience
has been directing operations in a California plant producing Caribbean cheeses,
which has given him an edge in the industry. Extensive research supports Mr. Herold's
development of cheese culture blends, formulations and make procedures.
Product Applications: Our line of Caribbean cheeses is
available for retail, foodservice and ingredient use.
Packaging and Labeling: The Unique line of products are
available in all popular retail and foodservice packs including shredded and
grated products. Unique's brand of products carry bilingual (English and Spanish)
labeling to meet the needs of the domestic and foreign markets. Private label
programs are also available.
